Music Director : RD Burman. Synopsis : No joy in the world can equal the happiness a man derives from watching his own child at play. Not all the riches in the world can compensate for the vaccum, the emptiness, created by the want of a child in a home. With a woman this yearning is a hundred times stronger and the outcome of her torment impossible beyond measure. Radha belonged to a rich family. Her sole aim in life after becoming a widow, was to see her sone Ajit happy and fulfil the promise she had given to her husband that the family name and tradition would be perpetuated. Finding Ajit deeply in love with Shobha, the Raisaheb's daughter who too loved him no less, Radha got them married, hoping that Shobha would prove an ideal wife and daughter-in-law and their home would soon resound with merry laughter of a child, if not children. Three years went by and Radha was still waiting for the new arrival in the family. Her patience was running out. Desperate, she took Shobha to a doctor who, after prolonged examination and treatment, told her that God alone could help her fulfil her yearning for a grandchild. Radha's sorrow knows no bounds. She could not think of the family chain breaking off. She had to have a grandchild and fulfil her promise to her late husband. As a last ...

Am I giving legal advice when I use www.LawCentral.com.au?
QUESTION: Am I giving legal advice when I use www.LawCentral.com.au? ANSWER: The author of all legal documents at LawCentral is the lawyer that puts the document up at LawCentral. The lawyer keeps copyright in the document. No one else is legally the author. The lawyer has the sole control and ownership of that document. Therefore, the answer to your question is usually no. It is the lawyer that provides the document on the website. It is the lawyer that has created the logic flow and set up the questions. It is the lawyer that has written all the hints to explain how the document works. The lawyer puts the document up at LawCentral so that a locked PDF document is created. That document is locked so that it can not be altered. That gives the lawyer confidence that the client can NOT alter the document. An altered document may destroy the effect of the document. Law firms can only put their documents up at LawCentral if they provide a minimum of $1.5m worth of the law firm's Professional Indemnity insurance on each and every legal document created at LawCentral. The person that puts in the answers to the questions on the web site is just a mere scribe. If you are only a mere scribe - ie filing in forms and questions - then generally you are not giving legal advice. "... the court held that work of the mere clerical kind, such as filling out of skeletal blanks ... should be generally regarded as the legitimate right of any layman because it involves nothing more or less ...

The Winslow Boy (1999), Jeremy Northam "Plainly Innocent"
Tremendous entertainment and the acting is top notch. The Winslow Boy is an English 1946 play by Terence Rattigan based on an actual incident in the Edwardian era, which took place at the Royal Naval College, Osborne House. Set against the strict codes of conduct and manners of the age, The Winslow Boy is based on a father's fight to clear his son's name after the boy is expelled from Osborne Naval College for stealing a postal order. The play was inspired by an actual event, which set a legal precedent; the case of George Archer-Shee, a cadet at Osborne in 1908, who was accused of stealing a postal order from a fellow cadet. His elder brother Major Martin Archer-Shee, was convinced of his innocence, and persuaded his father (also called Martin) to engage lawyers. The most respected barrister of the day, Sir Edward Carson was also persuaded of his innocence, and insisted on the case coming to court. On the fourth day of the trial, the Solicitor General accepted that Archer-Shee was innocent, and ultimately the family was paid compensation. George Archer-Shee died in the First World War and his name is inscribed on the war memorial in the village of Woodchester in Gloucestershire where his parents lived. ************** Mamet's wife, Rebecca Pidgeon, plays Catherine Winslow, the little boy's older sister. She's an outspoken but gentle woman who's strongly in favor of women's rights. Jeremy Northam plays Sir Robert Morton, the lawyer and member of the House of Commons who ...
